The Someday Project · now in the making

From someday to shipped.

The book, the game, the song, the app you've carried around for years. Make it with AI in a live, small-group program, and show it to the people you love. No coding or art skills needed.

The picture book you tell your kids at bedtime.

Games

The game you sketched in a notebook years ago.

Music

A song for someone who deserves one.

Apps

The app you keep describing to friends.

Film

A short film, a music video, a trailer for your life.

A cookbook of the recipes only Grandma remembers.

Comics

The comic living in the margins of your notes.

Anything

The thing only you would think to make.

Why we're doing this

Double Dutch Derby was my someday project.

I carried the idea around for years. I knew what it looked like, how it played, even how it sounded. I just never had the time or the team to build it.

Then AI caught up to the idea. I built the game, and it's on its way to the App Store and Google Play.

Finishing it did something I didn't expect. It gave me energy for everything else, and it changed what I think one person can make. The Someday Project is how I want to hand that feeling to you.

What AI made possible

A startup and a game studio, built with AI.

The game was just the start. AI is how I help build a live startup and run an independent game studio, each with a remarkably small team.

Duffle

Startup · co-founder

An AI operating system for sports agencies and talent managers, covering contracts, clients, revenue and relationships.

I co-founded Duffle with two partners and lead its technology with a deliberately small team. With AI in our workflow, we've shipped a product that feels years ahead of our stage: a web app, iOS and Android apps, and AI that reads contracts and flags what matters.

Game studio · founder

An independent game studio.

Double Dutch Derby went from an idea I'd carried for years to a finished game, coming soon to iOS and Android, with more games on the way.

That's what we mean by superhuman. Not a better tool. A bigger sense of what one person can make.

  1. 01

    Dig it up

Bring the idea you've been carrying. Together we shrink it into a first version you can actually finish.

  2. 02

    Make it

Live building sessions with AI as your creative crew. You direct, it drafts, and a real person helps whenever you get stuck.

  3. 03

    Show it

Premiere night. Invite your friends and family, present what you made, and watch everyone else's someday come to life too.

How you'll get good at it

Every session is a game.

No lectures and no manuals. You learn by playing director, and every round gets you closer to exactly what's in your head.

Director's Chair · one scene, three takes

Take 1

"A cozy bookshop."

A bookshop. Nice, but it could be anywhere.

Take 2

"Rainy evening outside. Lamps on. An old cat asleep on the counter."

Closer. Still feels like a stock photo.

Take 3

"Like my grandpa's shop in 1994: crooked shelves, handwritten price tags, the radio on low."

That's it.

  • The signature game

    Blind Build

You see a secret picture. Your AI crew doesn't. Direct them until they recreate it. Fewest takes wins.

  • Director's Chair

Your crew hands you a take. You give notes, they shoot again. Can you land the scene in three?

  • Crew Swap

Hand your direction to another maker's crew. If their version matches yours, you nailed it.

  • The Mood Wall

Pin five things that feel like your project and say why. It becomes your crew's north star.

  • Back of the Box

Write the blurb for your finished project before it exists. Who's it for, and how should they feel?

  • Director's Commentary

On premiere night, walk everyone through the choices you made and why you made them.

What to bring to your first session

01

Your own AI subscription

An account with a tool like Claude or ChatGPT. A paid plan, usually around $20 a month, works best. It stays yours after the program, so you can keep making.

02

Your someday idea

The book, game, song or app you've been carrying around. It doesn't need to be figured out. It just needs to be yours.

03

No idea yet? Pick a starter.

We'll have a few easy ones ready, like:

  • A bedtime story starring someone you love
  • A birthday song for a friend
  • A tiny game about your pet
  • A movie trailer for your family's best story

You're the director. AI is the crew.

No experience needed

If you can describe what you want, you can make it. We teach the rest as you go.

Your voice stays yours

AI drafts, you decide. Every choice about how it looks, sounds and feels is yours.

Finished beats perfect

A first version you can share is worth more than a masterpiece that stays in your head.

What you make is yours

We claim no rights to your work, and we'll walk you through what sharing or selling AI-assisted work involves.

Good questions.

Do I need to know how to code, draw or write music?

No. If you can describe what you want, you can make it. AI handles the technical parts, and we show you how to direct it.

What will I have at the end?

A real first version of your project that you can share: a playable game, a finished picture book, a recorded song, a short film or a working app.

What if I don't have an idea yet?

That's fine. We'll have a few easy starter projects ready, like a bedtime story starring someone you love or a tiny game about your pet. You might find your someday idea along the way.

I'm not sure my idea is good enough.

Bring it anyway. The first step is finding the version of your idea you can finish, and most people surprise themselves.

What are the sessions like?

Short creative games built around your own project, like Blind Build and Director's Chair, plus plenty of time to make. Each round gets you faster at turning what's in your head into the real thing.

Which AI tools will I use?

You bring your own AI subscription, like Claude or ChatGPT. A paid plan, usually around $20 a month, works best. We'll tell you exactly what to set up before your first session.

How much does it cost?

We'll share pricing before enrollment opens. People on the waitlist hear first and get founding-member pricing.

When does it start?

We're building it now. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to hear when doors open.
