Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This page explains what the makenzo.io website collects and why. Makenzo LLC ("Makenzo," "we," "us") runs this site. It is a marketing site for our engineering consultancy: it has no accounts, no comments, and no forms of its own. The short version is that we collect very little, we use no advertising trackers, and we never sell personal information.
What we collect
- Traffic statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not track you across days or across other sites. We use no other analytics or advertising trackers.
- Hosting and security data. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Booking a call. The "Book" buttons open a scheduling widget from Cal.com. The widget loads only after you hover, focus, or tap a booking button. If you book, the name, email address, and any notes you enter go to Cal.com, which shares them with us so we can hold the call. Cal.com's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data.
- Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as we need them to reply and follow up.
- Fonts. Page fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives the technical request (including your IP address) needed to serve the font files. Google states it does not use these requests for tracking.
- Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.
How we use it
- To keep the site running, fast, and secure.
- To understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful.
- To schedule and hold the calls you book, and to reply when you write to us.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who we share data with
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, and cookieless traffic statistics.
- Cal.com — scheduling, only if you book a call.
- Google Fonts — font delivery.
These providers may store data in the United States or other countries where they operate. We share nothing else with anyone, except where the law requires it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and shows no cookie banner because it does not need one. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie during a bot check, and Cal.com may set cookies inside its widget once it loads; both are covered by those companies' policies.
How long we keep it
Traffic statistics are aggregated and hold no personal information. Booking details and email correspondence are kept for as long as we work together or reasonably expect to, and then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA or UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed to children. Our game studio, Makenzo Games, publishes its own policies at makenzogames.com/privacy, including children's-privacy terms for our games.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
