Privacy Policy

This page explains what the makenzo.io website collects and why. MAKENZO LLC ("MAKENZO," "we," "us") runs this site. It is the home page for MAKENZO Games and Leave. MAKENZO Games (makenzogames.com) and Leave (leaveyouragent.com) have their own websites and privacy policies. It has no accounts and no comments; its only forms are mailing-list signups. The short version is that we collect very little, we use no advertising trackers, and we never sell personal information.

What we collect

Traffic statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not track you across days or across other sites. We use no other analytics or advertising trackers.
Hosting and security data. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Mailing-list signups. If you join a waitlist or mailing list on this site, we store your email address, the list you joined, the page you signed up from, the referring page, your approximate country, and anything you choose to tell us in the optional follow-up question. To stop automated abuse we also store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself. We email you once to confirm the address, and only mail you after you confirm. We use this only to send you updates about that list, and every email after the confirmation includes a way to unsubscribe.
Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as we need them to reply and follow up.
Fonts. Page fonts are served from this site, so no third party sees a request for them.

How we use it

To keep the site running, fast, and secure.
To understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are useful.
To reply when you write to us.
To send updates about the mailing lists you join, and to shape programs using the answers you choose to give.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Cloudflare — hosting, security, cookieless traffic statistics, storage of mailing-list signups, and sending mailing-list emails (Cloudflare Email Service).
Google Fonts — font delivery.

If we move a mailing list to an email-sending service, we will name that service here before we send through it.

These providers may store data in the United States or other countries where they operate. We share nothing else with anyone, except where the law requires it.

Our brands share a private publishing tool, registered with Meta as the app "MAKENZO", for the social accounts of Leave, MAKENZO Games and its games, and our founder's account. The tool is operated by Leave Your Agent Inc., which is responsible for the data it handles. Only our team uses it. It has no public sign-up.

Our own accounts. The tool signs in to our own Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok and X accounts to publish posts our team has approved. It stores each account's id, username and access token. Nothing is published without a person's approval.
Public posts we may reply to. The tool reads recent public posts from a fixed list of public sports, news, gaming and pop culture accounts, and public posts that match a short list of phrases about athlete agents, NIL and contracts. It stores each post's text, link, time and the public account name, so our team can decide whether to reply from our own account. A person reads every suggested reply and approves it before it is posted. We do not send private messages and we build no profiles of the people whose posts we read.
Suggested replies. To suggest a reply, the post's text is sent to Google's Gemini model on Google Cloud (Vertex AI), which does not use it to train its models.
How long we keep it. Public posts read by the tool are deleted after 3 days. Our replies stay on the platform where they were posted until we or the platform remove them.
Where it is stored. On Cloudflare, in the United States.

Deleting your data. If a post of yours was read by the tool, or we replied to you, and you want that data removed, email hello@makenzo.io with your username and the platform. We delete everything the tool holds about that account within 30 days and confirm by email; the tool also stops reading that account. You can remove our reply from your own post on the platform at any time.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and shows no cookie banner because it does not need one. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie during a bot check; that is covered by Cloudflare's policy.

How long we keep it

Traffic statistics are aggregated and hold no personal information. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we work together or reasonably expect to, and then deleted. Mailing-list signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, and the list itself is closed. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA or UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Children

This site and its mailing lists are meant for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their email addresses, and we delete any we learn about. Our game studio, MAKENZO Games, publishes its own policies at makenzogames.com/privacy, including children's-privacy terms for our games.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
