Privacy Policy

Good For It is an iPhone app made by MAKENZO LLC ("MAKENZO," "we," "us"). This policy covers the app. The short version: your money stays on your phone. The app has no account, does not connect to your bank, sends nothing to us, and contains no advertising or analytics trackers.

What the app keeps, and where

• Your ledger. Your starting balance, the income and expenses you add, and your settings are stored on your iPhone, inside the app. We never receive them.
• A copy for Siri and widgets. The app writes a summary of your upcoming balances to a private area on your iPhone that only Good For It's own Siri actions and widgets can read.
• Backups you make. If you export a backup, it is a file you choose where to keep (Files, iCloud Drive, a message). We never see it.

Voice

When you tap the microphone, the app records only while the voice screen is open and turns your words into text using Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone. The text is read into an entry by Apple's on-device model where your iPhone has one, or by rules inside the app. The recording is a temporary file on your iPhone that is never uploaded; nothing you say is sent to us. If you talk to the app through Siri, Apple handles that request under Apple's privacy policy.

Apple Calendar

If you turn on "Show entries in Calendar" (Pro), the app asks for calendar access, creates one calendar named "Good For It," and only reads and changes events in that calendar. It does not read your other calendars. If your calendars sync through iCloud or are shared with someone, the Good For It calendar syncs and shares the same way; you can hide amounts in Settings. Turning the option off deletes that calendar.

Purchases

Good For It Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. Apple tells the app whether you own Pro; we do not receive your name, email or payment details.

What we collect

Nothing from the app. There is no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifier, and no data sold or shared. If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as we need them to help you. This website (makenzo.io) is covered by the makenzo.io privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Everything lives on your phone, so you are in control: use Settings → Export or restore a backup → Erase everything, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its data; a backup file you exported stays wherever you saved it.

Children

Good For It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. If a change affected how your data is handled, we would say so in the app before it applied.
