Voice doesn't work

Voice needs iOS 26 and the microphone permission (Settings → Good For It → Microphone). The first time, your iPhone may download its English speech model; give it a minute on Wi-Fi. If voice still isn't available, tap "Type instead": everything voice can do, the form can.

It understood something wrong

Nothing saves until you tap "Save it." Tap any field on the card to fix it. Saying the amount, the name and when it repeats works best: "car payment 412 on the 15th every month."

Siri

Say the app's name in the request: "What's my balance on the 15th in Good For It?", "What's due this week in Good For It?", "Add an expense in Good For It." The actions also appear in the Shortcuts app.

Widgets

Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and search for Good For It. Widgets update each time you save something in the app.

Apple Calendar

With Pro, turn on Settings → Apple Calendar → Show entries in Calendar and allow full access when asked. The app adds one calendar named "Good For It" and only touches that one. Turn it off to remove the calendar. If you turned access down, change it in Settings → Good For It → Calendars.

Pro and restoring a purchase

Pro is $19.99 once and removes the cap of 2 paychecks and 6 bills. On a new phone or after reinstalling, tap Settings → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Moving to a new phone

Your ledger lives only on the phone. Before you switch, use Settings → Export or restore a backup → Export a backup, save the file, and on the new phone use Restore from a backup. An iPhone backup through iCloud or a computer also carries it across.

Android

Good For It is on iPhone first. Android is next.
